One sided, fairly thick paper adult coloring book. Very detailed drawings! The cat faces pretty much look identical in every drawing, same kind of blank expression, but the intricate backgrounds and strong themes of each sheet make up for that. I particularly like the King and Queen playing card themed drawings. I would suggest putting a blank sheet of paper under the drawing you’re working on just for precaution. I have used felt tip markers and they bleed through to the back but since I use a divider, it doesn’t bleed into other pages. I think you could probably use watercolor pencils on this as well without any worry of tearing. Overall, I really love this book and would recommend prismacolor’s colored pencils to color them.

About the Author
Author and artist, Marjorie Sarnat, is co-founder of Jr Imagination, a publisher dedicated to creative development in children and adults. She’s also an award winning mixed-media artist, whose works are in collections worldwide. Born and raised in Chicago, Marjorie is an alumna of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and earned a BFA degree from Eastern Michigan University. She also studied with noted painter Joe Abbrescia, for whom she taught art in his acclaimed Chicago art school.
